Noctowl is an incredibly rare Pokémon of Ash. It is a 'Shiny' Pokémon which glitters as it comes out of its Poké Ball into battle. Due to its psychic abilities, it has been used many times to find and battle Ghost Pokémon as well as the usual flying requirements that Ash utilizes. Ash left it at Oak's when he decided to make a fresh start when he left for Hoenn. Noctowl
